PVmet-100 (MTI.AWS.EK.100) is an innovative sensor platform for PV monitoring, developed by Rainwise Inc. and provided by EKO. The PVMet series of weather stations are designed for solar operations looking to gain insights into the efficiency and status of their PV system with accurate, bankable data.
The PVMet series is simple to use, tough enough for harsh environmental conditions, and powerful enough to transform a solar installation into a sustainable solution that saves resources and energy. The PVmet-100 features sensors specific to PV power generation, with standard measurement parameters including Irradiance, PV back-panel temperature, and ambient temperature. This low-cost station is compact, turn-key, easy to install and can connect to any inverter or SCADA system.
All PVMet stations are Sunspec® certified or compliant and feature integration via Modbus RTU or an ethernet Modbus TCP option. The PVmet is supplied with a detachable mast section that can be bolted to an existing structure, with various other mounting options, such as the 'Mono Mount', also available. EKO also provides unique radiometer calibration compliant with ISO/IEC17025/9847.
