PVmet-500-M2 (MTI.AWS.EK.M2) is an innovative sensor platform for PV monitoring, developed by Rainwise Inc. and provided by EKO.

The PVMet series of weather stations are designed for solar operations looking to gain insights into the efficiency and status of their PV system with accurate, bankable data. The PVMet series is simple to use, tough enough for harsh environmental conditions, and powerful enough to transform a solar installation into a sustainable solution that saves resources and energy.

The PVmet-500-M2 is a unique weather station based on the modular PVmet-500 platform with a mini-aervane and rain gauge precipitation sensor, compatible with IEC 61724 requirements for PV monitoring.

Multiple high-end pyranometers and weather sensors can be combined to form a turnkey solution for PV monitoring applications. This low-cost station is compact, easy to manage, install and easily connected to an inverter or SCADA system.

The PVmet-500-M2 weather station comprises a powerful electronic interface for connecting all sensors and converting the output to a Modbus data string (RS-485 Modbus interface - Sunspec® certified).
